Identity Verification, or KYC (Know Your Customer), is designed to protect your account against fraud, corruption, money laundering, and terrorist financing. Completing KYC increases your withdrawal limits and unlocks specific features.

Why Verify Your Account?

  • Higher Limits: Increase your daily and monthly withdrawal limits for both crypto and fiat.
  • P2P Trading: Access the Peer-to-Peer marketplace to buy and sell crypto directly with other users.
  • Security: Helps recover your account faster if you lose access to your credentials.

Verification Levels

EBIT offers different levels of verification, each with its own requirements and benefits:

1. Basic Verification (Level 1)

Requires personal information such as full name, date of birth, and residential address. Approvals are usually instant.

2. ID Verification (Level 2)

Requires uploading a valid government-issued ID (Passport, Driver's License, or National ID) and completing a facial recognition scan (liveness check).

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Verification Center

Log in to your EBIT account, click on your profile icon, and select Unverified or Identification from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Start Verification

Click the Verify button next to "Personal Details". Select your country of residence. Ensure this matches the country on your ID documents.

Step 3: Upload Documents

Choose your ID type (e.g., Passport, ID Card). Take a clear photo of the front and back of your ID. Ensure:

  • All details are clearly visible.
  • The document is valid and not expired.
  • There is no glare or cropped corners.

Step 4: Facial Verification

After uploading documents, you will be prompted to complete a selfie check. Follow the on-screen instructions to position your face within the frame. Do not wear hats, glasses, or filters.

Step 5: Wait for Review

Our system usually reviews data within minutes. However, it may take up to 24-48 hours during peak times. You will receive an email notification once your verification is approved.

Common Reason for Rejection: Unclear photos, glare hiding text, or the name on the ID not matching the name entered during registration.
